I know, I know. Don't yell at me. My last blog was bloody terrible (and I don't think it even counts) and I didn't blog yesterday. So I have a butt load of info to tell you about. (My apology about not blogging will be coming up shortly).
Let's start off with Thursday. Hm...It was pretty uneventful. In school, we had a short assembly about friendship and graduating school from an old Philadelphia Eagles Football player. Personally, it was a VERY good speech. Overall, I was bored out of my mind. Sitting in an auditorium listening to the same guy talk for an hour isn't exactly the most exciting thing to do. Now if he would throw candy at us, or have a water gun or something, it wouldn't have been so bad. (I say water gun because I was sitting in the back). I don't really remember what I did afterwards, but I know I didn't have time to go on the computer.
Friday: I got up at 3:50am to watch the Royal Wedding. I realize getting up that early was a mistake since the ceremony didn't starts until 6, but it was good. I thought her dress was stunning. Kate and her sister both looked so pretty. I'm disappointed in William though. When he had hair, he was so attractive. Now that he's balding like his dad, he's not all that great. I still loved the wedding though. It was beautiful. Nothing exciting happened in school Friday. When I got home, we almost instantly left for Ian's. We stopped at my aunt's house to pick up some food that we had for dinner. My aunt works as a lunch lady in a nearby school district and so she takes the leftovers home and gives some of them to us. These leftovers (school lunches...remember that) which was lasagna, made me absolutely sick. It was awful. I threw up the 3 mouthfuls I could stand. So, obviously, I turned in early. That's why I didn't blog. I was too busy throwing up. Now I'm pretty sure I'm getting your sympathy.
Today, I had softball pictures. They only took 10mins tops. When I came home, my dad and I left to go over my great aunt's house to cut her grass and fix up her yard a bit. I got 25$ out of that! WOO! Money!
we got back an hour ago, I just ate dinner, and soon I'm leaving again to go to the movies with Megan, Kim, and Char. We're going to see Beastly! I'm excited. This is gonna be a great movie. I figured while I had a little bit of time, I'd blog since it is the last day of BEDA. I'm leaving now. This has been fun guys! See you next time!

Late Night
Sadly, this is an extremely short post. I'll post about my dad today, tomorrow. Procrastination.
Wednesday, 27 April 2011
I really really don't want to blog today. I don't want to type. I just want to go read, but because of my dedication, I have to. Awesome. Brief overview time!
I woke up, I went to school, I had an alright day in school, Jazz Band was great as usual, all the other classes sucked as usual, I came home, I did homework, I'm on the computer. Yeas, I could go into a lot more detail, but I honestly don't care right now. I'm going to go and read right after I'm done fixing some music thing on my computer. I apologize that this is super short, but too bad. Deal with it.

Gear Up
I think it FINALLY hit me. Mostly because it's really hot and that means summer is rolling in, but still. I should have thought of this a while ago. I need to seriously get my ass in gear. Yeah, I do 2 sports and there's marching band, but that isn't enough. Everyone has some of that "popular girl mocking themselves" in them (even if you're not a girl) and we mock ourselves. We call ourselves names. We put ourselves down so much that it can push us to the edge. Sometimes the edge could be a good thing. The good edge can be called "The Wake Up Call." The bad edge can be called "Oblivion." Obviously, Oblivion is bad. We don't want to get there. My body (and mind) have, thankfully, hit The Wake Up Call. I realize I've needed this pretty badly. I used to be insanely skinny, like my friend, Moose, who's like a twig. Always has been. I sorta let myself go. I am admitting openly (without putting myself down) that I have gotten a bit chubby. I am going to admit, I don't like it. At all. Like I look in the mirror everyday, and there's the popular rotten girl. Let's call her The Joker (like batman). No one wants The Joker around because you're most likely going to die. So when The Joker is stuck in the glass room, She/He's ok, but still a danger to everyone with a conscience. Which is everyone. We need to shut out The Joker. The Joker is a cruel being inside of EVERYONE who, if truly gets to you, will push you to Oblivion. But, the person in your mind who saves you, let's call them Hero, brings you back up. Hero may bring you up with terrible realizations, but let's face it, honesty is much better than Oblivion. I, right now, am going to take a vow to go somewhere as often I can in the summer.
I remember I had so much motivation last year. I am upset to say that I know exactly why I had this motivation. It was a boyfriend. I wanted to be fit for him. I wanted to be skinny for him. I honestly used to workout in my room every night just to try and get muscle or stay skinny. I would walk halfway across my hometown just to go to his house. Now that he's out of my life (which i am kinda grateful for [douche]) I let myself go. I don't feel like I'm "eating my feelings" because of missing him or anything. I was actually the one who broke up with him. But I do realize, I have no motivation what so ever to go for a walk. To go to the park. to do anything really but sit here on my computer watching YouTube videos. I love YouTube, and so do many people, but I feel like it might be ruining my life. I need to cut back. I need to hang out with friends. I need to do something to get back in shape.
Let's face it, today is a realization day. At this, with this story and everything, think about your own life. Are you happy with who you are? I know I'm not satisfied, but I know what I have to do to adjust. So I'm gearing up for activities. I'm gearing up for life because let's face it, when I graduate high school, college (hopefully) will be the only thing on my mind. Sure, I'll make new friends, but I just hope that they'll keep me in line as well. Friends are your Coaches and/or Sidekicks. They can be a pain in the ass, but you know they'll always be there for you and they got your back.

HEAT STROKE
It's so hot over here in Pennsylvania....like almost 90 hot. The pool isn't open and I don't have any friends that have pools. I'm dying right now. I was outside for 3hrs or so with my friend, Shannon, walking her dogs with her, jumping on the trampoline (mostly sitting and talking, but whatever, we jumped), then going with her to meet her boyfriend, then walking home. Did I mention it's VERY hilly where I live? Did I mention it's hot!?
But anyways, it's the day after Easter, and guess what's for breakfast?! Pretzel M&Ms :) and Jellybeans. I LOVE Jellybeans. So I ate a handful of M&Ms and left. Not very healthy or filling, but I'm not complaining.
Did I mention it's hot?!
I don't know what I'm doing the rest of the day. I should be working on my homework my stupid teachers left us over the break, but let's face it, I procrastinate, so it'll be done around midnight or so whenever I fall asleep. I'm going to miss staying up til 3 or 4am and getting up around noon....Who cares? I have 6 and a half weeks of school left. I can't wait for summer! Did I mention it's hot? Especially in summer? But there's pools in the summer :D
Oh dear, I just realized, I'm going to Gettysburg next weekend...not the end of April weekend, the beginning of May. I get to room with my friends since it's a school trip. NO PARENTS!!!
Then my birthday, and Jazz Band gigs, and Marching Band starts soon....YAY! I'm going to love next month. It's going to be weird not blogging everyday. I'll try and post a blog at least every week. Maybe on Saturdays to wrap up the week. I'll try, I promise!

What's With The Bunnies?
Happy Zombie Day! I say this because Easter is the celebration of a Zombie. If you're Catholic, think about it. What I really want to know, is how the "Easter Bunny" came into this. Why a rabbit? Why not a snake? Or a raccoon? Or a fox? Why rabbits? I don't understand.
ANYWAYS! Enough with the bunnies. I had a terrific Easter today. I woke up at 12 since I didn't have to be anywhere, got my Easter stuff, and watched Tangled 2 more times before my dad took it back to the video store. I LOVE Tangled. I'm obsessed with it. It was at my house for a night, and I watched it 6 times. I sang the songs, I recited lines, I even laughed at the same parts every time. NEW OBSESSION! I like this obsession though. My mom said that this summer, I can paint Rapunzel's chalk drawing on my ceiling. Link to picture --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ljmtHKqKCQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=65s
(If the link doesn't work, just highlight it and right click then click go to URL. The time on the video for the picture is 1:05)
I'm excited about this :D
Other than the 5 coloring books, sidewalk chalk, and pretzel M&Ms I got in my basket, nothing else was too too exciting today. I had fun and that's all that matters.
I'm off of school tomorrow as well. YAY! It's a shame that I don't own a copy of Tangled yet. I can't wait to get one. I'm going to watch it all the time. Out of every single movie I've seen, I would like my life to be like Rapunzel's. Or any Disney princess movie really....That would be so awesome :D I'm not saying I want a fairy godmother or anything, but thinking of all of those adventures and risks they get to take? Who in their right mind would pass that up?
Based on a movie (or movie type) what would you want your life to be like?

Rain, Rain, I FREAKING LOVE YOU!
Did I ever mention I love the rain? Only when I'm with my friends though. Everything is a lot more fun with friends.
Today started off VERY very badly. My dad woke me up, practically yelling at me because I didn't tell him that I had softball practice at noon. He got me up at 11:20. As if I was going to have time to do anything. Thankfully, my coach texted me saying that practice was canceled because the upper field we were practicing on was basically flooded. So that was good. But then my parents were just kind of yelling at each other all day. So my mom and I went to Giant Eagle and then when I got home, my dad drove me to Livie's house. We had so much fun there!
We hung out with another one of our friends, Melissa. We call each other Boyfriend though because of an inside joke a while ago. It's completely normal. Anyways, we had fun. We picked up our friend Kyle and we went to Giant Eagle and Caribou Coffee. Then Boyfriend had to leave, so Livie and I played in the rain waiting for our other friend Erinn. Sadly, a little after Erinn got there, I had to leave.
Now I'm home and eating Dairy Queen Blizzards watching TANGLED! I'm basically obsessed with this movie. I'm just going to play it over and over until about 5am. I'm not even kidding. And my parents aren't annoyed with it either. So I'll be back tomorrow on Easter and tell you about how boring my day will be since we aren't going anywhere. BYE!!!

Cars
Today, I woke up at 12 noon and basically got in a car. I was in a car until 5:30pm when I got home. I am so sick of sitting, yet here I am typing up my BEDA blog post of the day. That's dedication right there. I do not want to be sitting here. All day, I just wanted to go for a walk. Just call one of my friends up and ask if they wanted to go for a walk. But what's the weather like here in Pittsburgh? It's freaking raining. I hate the bipolarness of Pittsburgh and that's all. That's the only thing that bugs me. Yesterday, it was sunny, but cold. Now it's miserable and raining. It's been raining all day non stop. Way to ruin my plans weather. Thanks a lot.
Well I bet you're wondering why I was in a car all day. No? Too bad. This is a blog and I'm going to tell you about my day.
My parents and I drove to Tandy Leather in Westmoreland County (Murrysville area) which is an entire county away from where I live (pretty damn far). Me and my mom shopped around a little bit while my dad went and bought some more leather stuff. On our way back, we stopped at an exotic pet shop called The Enclosure. That place mostly has reptiles and birds you've never even heard of before. Here are some pictures:

These animals are beautiful. Yes there is even a King Cobra in those pictures. We solely went there to see how much baby bearded dragons were since our just died. The ones they have there are called Leather Backs. Basically they're just a lot smoother and more colorful than the dragon we had. They were so cute :3
After the Enclosure, we went to the Monroeville Joanne Fabrics. Nothing exciting there. I did get Ultraviolet while we were out though. I love that movie :)
But yeah, that's been my day. I really liked today. I hope tomorrow will be good too even though I have softball at noon and that's been the times I've been getting up lately...Oh well! Bye!

Is That A Fat Joke?
Hiya everyone! Today was fun!
This morning, and by morning I mean noon, I woke up to my mom bringing me breakfast in bed. It was amazing. I've never had breakfast in bed. It wasn't even anything fancy, just cinnamon toast with chocolate milk. But I thought it was adorable :)
After breakfast, I went in my living room and started my Screen Gems marathon. This marathon consists of all 4 Resident Evil movies and all 3 Underworld movies. I have 4 more movies left to watch :) I would've been able to watch more than 2 today if I wasn't cut short because of softball >:p
I really didn't want to go to practice today. It was extremely cold and I made the dumb decision to wear shorts. So all my friend, Bre, and I did the whole time was complain. It was pretty funny.
Other than that, I've just been listening to the Tangled soundtrack all day. I REALLY WANT THIS MOVIE AND SOUNDTRACK!!!! I'm going to ask my parents if we can go to best buy and get some stuff :D I hope that'll work.
For Dinner, I had Chinese Food. My fortune cookie was very insulting and it goes with the title of this blog. It said, "Great things happen when men and mountains meet." Now I'm no future teller or whatever, but that was definitely a fat joke. I am insulted.
So now I'm just sitting here singing to myself, drinking Cherry Pepsi, and replying back to my pen pals. This month is going to fast :D I love it. See you tomorrow!

Song of the Day
I just had a thought. I'm going to post my "song of the day" every time I post a blog. And since it's BEDA, there are going to be quite a few songs. Why couldn't I have thought of this earlier?
SONG OF THE DAY!!!!
Spiderwebs - No Doubt
Now that that's over, SPRING BREAK HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED! I'm excited for tomorrow. I'm going to have a Resident Evil and Underworld marathon all day. I wish I had Ultraviolet too so I could watch it with my amazing marathon, but maybe I'll get it for my birthday :) (which is in about a month)
Today was an easy day at school. We did basically nothing but eat because we had parties. I love easy days like that. Jazz Band made my day though (when doesn't it). In the song Chameleon, Livie and I have a sort of "battle to the death" because we play the same thing and no one else really plays except rhythm. So before we started I said that it would be funny if we tried to kick each other while we played to win the battles. Well Livie attempted to kick and sing the beginning notes of Chameleon and ended up kicking Megan's trumpet across the room! It was soooo funny! Other than that, nothing really happened. My mom's back is still in spasms and we don't know what to do about it. I really hope she gets better.
Tomorrow I'll tell you about the amazing marathon I'm going to have! Or maybe even movie reviews!!!

ER
Today was a pretty bad day. I don't exactly know why though. You know when nothing triggers a bad day, but u just feel absolutely terrible? Well that was my day.
This morning was alright, but annoying for no reason. Nobody did anything annoying at all. It was just annoying. Afternoon was a little bit better, but then I discovered that I "lost" my hoagie (Sub sandwich thing for those of you who don't know Pittsburghese) order form paper. The orders were due today, but thankfully the collector lady said she'd come by tomorrow morning for the paper. I still can't find it. This sucks.
Anyways, after school I went to Ian's with my parents yet again. This time, the secretary was Natalie, which is the fun secretary. She's the one who asked me to babysit her kids and train her new puppy. But she really liked my hair and I was happy :) My mom said that I'm aloud to get it permanently done as the dark red I had before. I'm excited. I love that color.
Speaking of my mom, we had to go to the ER today because of her :-/ She has had lower back spasms for 4 days and Ian told us that it would be best to go to the ER so we did and she got X Rays. Nothing's wrong. But with my family, that's how it always is. We were there for 2 and a half hrs and nothing is wrong. Go figure. Se la Vi.
Tomorrow is the last day before Spring Break, so I hope it'll be a much easier and happier day. See ya tomorrow!

Nothing Special
Today was essentially what the title is of today's blog. I went to school, got a bunch of compliments on my red hair, went home, went to Ian's, came home, did nothing. So uneventful.
I will divulge my plans I had for Easter/Spring Break, however. My best friend, Alora, and I were planning on having a picnic sometime during break for our parents to meet so we can officially go to each others houses (we live 2 rivers away from each other). The plan was to find a day when our parents work hours held a very decent sized gap so we could go and have a picnic. FAIL. Our parents both work during inopportune times so we have basically ruined plans. AND IT SUCKS!!!!!! Luckily, Saturday might be a good day. I really really really really really really really really hope that we can make this work. Instead of a picnic, our parents are (hopefully) agree to go to one of our houses, drop off said child and then Alora and I have the best sleep over on Earth. I was soooo pumped for break, but ever since I found out about the whole hours ordeal, I've become insanely bummed out. I hate it. I just had such a spectacular weekend, and now Monday strolls along in and basically ruins it. GREAT.
That's all I had to vent about today. Wishing tomorrow will be better :-/

GREAT.

Comicon
COMICON WAS AMAZING AND AWESOME AND FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my god. That was so much fun. My eyes hurt from looking at camera flashes all day, but I still had so much fun. I'm super tired and since I just got back from the Con, I figured I'd try to tell my tales now.
This morning started off with me doing last minute adjustments, and I screwed up...BAD. The jeans I was gonna wear were too bulky at the bottom to fit in the boots without it looking like I had tumors on my legs. So I went to cut of the bottom.....I cut off too much. Basically those jeans are ruined unless I roll them into capris or something. So instead I had to hurry up and grab my good jeans I was gonna wear to begin with. Luckily, they fit in the boots. So I threw my costume together and went off to Comicon.
When I got there, I met up with the girl who invited me. Alexa works with my dad so I felt kinda weird walking around with all adults when I'm just a 15yr old. I did invite Megan, but she bailed. I also invited Shannon, but she just got grounded. So I met some new people and man are they awesome! They belong to a society call The Steam Punk Society. I'll leave links at the end as to what exactly the do and all of that fun stuff. It's hard to explain really since I was just accepted as the youngest member. I feel special and accomplished.
Anyways, while we were walking around, we registered for the Costume Contest. We all went up as a group when the event started. We won the Best Group Outfit :D We got a trophy and everything. The trophy is going to be held at the "base" of Steam Punk Society: Trundle Manor. That place is cool. I'll leave their website link in the bottom as well.
After we won the award, the power went off. It was funny because instead of everyone screaming like the stupid people in my school, everyone cheered. I was not expecting that. I thought it was hilarious. We then proceeded to walk around some more. Sadly, I didn't get to take any pictures. We were all too busy getting our pictures taken to take any, ya know? When I do get those pictures on my computer, I'll post a few on here with my next blog I guess.
The people I met were so nice. They are definitely going to be my friends and I am without a doubt going to stay in the Society. It's just so wonderful. Also, I spent almost all of my money on the greatest things i have ever seen. It's called My Little Demons. Some lady basically took My Little Ponies and turned them into evil, morbid, adorable, and terrifying little ponies, unicorns, and pegasi. I'll also leave a link to her work in the bottom. That, for the most part, wraps up the great time I had. A lot more stuff happened, but my brain is just so fuzzy right now, I can hardly focus on these keys.
Back to yesterday when I said I'd catch you up. Regrettably, Kim, Megan, and I didn't get to go and see Sucker Punch. Instead, we went and saw Tangled. That was probably one of the most adorable movies I've ever seen in my life. It was just so cute and omygosh the little Chameleon was so cuuuuttttttteeeeee!!!!!!! I want one :) After the movie was over, we went across the street and through a giant parking lot to the pet store to look at the kitties and birds and hamsters. They have a Chinchilla there. It was sleeping and it was so cute :3 Then, Kim's mom came and picked us up. We then went to Kim's house, she burned me a CD and then I went home. Simple as that.
This weekend has just been so awesome. I'm gonna miss it so much. Hopefully more exciting things will be coming soon! Until tomorrow!

A New Look
I didn't realize this at first, but when I typed the title of this blog, it reminded me of something a girl named Shelby in the second Fallen book: Torment. She says something like "Every time my heart gets broken, I just change my hair for a fresh start. Ya know? A new look!" and then the main character, Lucy, bleaches her black hair. Does this mean I'm coping with my breakup? Nah, I hated that guy and we broke up a little more than a year ago so I am just fine.
What's this new look you're asking about? It's my hair. My friend came over today and helped me dye it. I have red hair. I feel amazing rite now. I love this color. It's like blood red mixed with the brown of my natural hair color. Its so sick.

I love it. My Claire Redfield costume is coming amazingly. My mom is currently making the vest jacket thing she has on and I'm about to draw the symbol she has on her jacket. The only problem is getting good boots she wears and the fact that I have glasses :-/ I do have an eye doctor appointment scheduled for early May to get contacts, but that'a a long way off compared to SUNDAY. Plus contacts take a while to come in so I'd have to wait even longer. Oh well. For pictures, I just won't wear them.
I'll have more updates on my costume tomorrow!!!

Shelby? Not Anymore!!!
Hey guys! If you've been following me for a while, you'd know my name is Shelby. Well, on Sunday, it's gonna be Claire Redfield. FYeah!
Today, me and my mom went out after I was done with school and got some more stuff for my costume. It's gonna be so kick ass because it won't be like the super exaggerated cosplay things you buy. It's all homemade. My mom is going to fix up this shirt that we bought for her red jacket, I got new jeans, and last night, my dad and I spent our entire night making the gun holster. It's amazing.
The holster is handmade out of leather from my grandpa. He used to do leather work all the time (or so I'm told. I've never met him because he died before I was born) and now my dad has taken the work up because of him. Obviously I can't take a real pistol or gun to Comicon so I replaced it with my Jack Sparrow pistol I have. I'ts great because it fits perfectly. We made the clip on straps last night too. Seriously, this is going to look amazing. I'll post up a picture or 2 whenever I can.
I have also never dyed my hair before, but I most likely am for Comicon. Claire's hair is a very nice auburn color. Mine is light and dark brown with blonde and slight red highlights in it. All completely natural. I have awesome hair.
Other than this exciting stuff going on. I don't really have much more going on. I'll be back tomorrow!

They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!
Hola! Today has been quite exciting :)
First, almost all of my friends were gone today for some Easter party these small children were having at our local Rec. Center. Obviously, I didn't go. So about half of my classes were empty all morning. In English (where no matter who's there or not, we always have work) all we did really was talk about babies. Yeah, babies. It was pretty amusing and funny, but I was just happy we wasted the whole class talking about it. Now, Livie is over and we're having a blast! :D The last time she came over, we were basically covered in tattoos....this has happened again. She has 18 and I have 16. It's fun :) They're EVERYWHERE!
Other than that great fun, my dad made us Hershey Temptations and we just licked the bowls clean of the mousse and chocolate type substance. It was very very nom noms.
Now for the boring part, practice was canceled today. Livie has guard at 7 so she'll be leaving soonish :-/ Oh well. At least we had fun. That's all of my excitingness right now :D
I'm going to leave random YouTube links down below. If you feel courageous enough, watch them >:)

Ruined
Today was going pretty great. Me and my friend Moose were in the kind of mood where beating each other up was fun (and I must say I do love those days) but today also kinda sucked. I was going absolutely crazy today and I was just so pissed off I didn't wanna talk to anybody....My dad did NOT understand that. So he got mad at me for not talking to him. so ugh a bunch of stuff went on there.
My day is now better than it was before. I went to my chiropractor (Ian's is what I will refer to that place later). He is amazing. He gave me Advil and a delicious cinnamon scone :) So now I'm happy and jamming to Taylor Swift :) Except I was just told I have to turn my music down and put my head phones in. I hate it when I'm told to do that. Especially when it's music I love dancing and singing to. It completely ruins the fun :( but se la vi I'm still happy about that.
So yesterday I figured out who I'm going to be for Comicon this Sunday. I'm going to be Claire Redfield from Resident Evil: Extinction and Afterlife. I'm going to wear the outfit from Afterlife, but that's who I'm being. She is definitely one of my favorite characters (possibly tied for first with Alice). For those of you who don't know what this costume looks like, here's a link as what I will be --> https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjec3O6IZVikTFEsIRixjyZiozPYwaYDgaefQZM1jcpBZicQkPk7EM9Zc9s_J4Uf0-Iit_B4DephW6i8wXZRCpr8trqlkUByNbz1XoRHEzUZfTLGdOjqG-x06g6g-lFQ8xiympBsTGWZE4/s1600/Resident+Evil+Afterlife.jpg
I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm supposed to spend my day with Livie so hopefully I'll be in a better mood than I am today. Bye!

Humidity = A Girls Arch Nemesis
Hello everyone! It is insanely humid over here in Pittsburgh. My hair feels like a lions mane (even though it's not). I feel like I've been roasting all day. My feet are on fire, I'm sweating quite a lot (not in a super gross way), and guess what. It's not even mid April. Oh geez I love bipolar Pittsburgh weather. I can't wait for summer though. Or spring break for that matter. My plans for spring break consist of:
1. Going to my best friend's house as much as I can. We live so far away (across 2 rivers!!!) and we've only met twice. It's kinda like a 5AG thing except it's just us 2 and we text each other everyday rather than having a vlog.
2. Sleeping in.
3. Reading.
Yeppers, that's my life basically. At least I'll have fun at my friend's house meeting her friends and stuff like that.
But that's for another time. Time to come back to the present and talk about what happened today. Well this morning I went to the dentist. Which I'm pretty sure is one of the most awkward professions in the world. Like what kid would not be made fun of on the playground saying they wanted to stick their hands in people's mouths and fix teeth? or clean teeth? Now I'm no bully, but I'm pretty sure I would tell that kid he will never be my dentist.
"Have you heard that her parents are dentists? (Dentists?) That means they pick around in dirty muggle's teeth! (EEEWWWW!!!!)"
Sorry. Just had a Parselmouths moment :)
Anyways, after the dentist, I got McDonald's breakfast and went to school. School wasn't very eventful at all today. The most exciting thing that happened was we celebrated my best friend, Livie's, birthday. It was pretty awesome when she opened her gifts I got her. She was happy and that's all that matters.
I don't really have anything worth while to talk about........hm.....well I guess this is it....

Fun In the Sun (and the Mud)
Today was such a beautiful day. It was so warm and sunny. It's currently 76deg. and its quarter after 9pm. I love this weather. It was super humid around 3 though. Softball practice. The only complaint I have about that is all the gnats where everywhere and flying around your face. It got really annoying. i'd have to say the highlight of my day was when I fell at practice. Since it rained yesterday, our field was kinda on the muddy side, although it wasn't too too bad. I was playing first and the 2nd baseman wasn't paying attention so when a ground ball was hit her way, I went to go get it. Big mistake. There just so happened to be a sand/mud consistency of apple sauce puddle right where I stepped and slipped on my butt. When I got up, my entire back side was muddy/sandy and soaked. It was so uncomfortable and annoying, but I have to admit it was hilarious.
It was such a lazy day. I procrastinated so bad. I was planning on doing a paper for World Cultures before I went to practice so I could have more time outside, but of course, I didn't. I finished it half an hour ago. That's a long procrastination. Oh well. At least I got it done.
Tomorrow is my best friend's 18th birthday and I made her this epic card :0) It has a bunch of pictures of us on it and some fun messages and a small letter at the bottom....if only it wouldn't waste all of our color ink....:0/
Nothing else really worth talking about happened today. I hope Livie's birthday will be more exciting tomorrow. Until then!

I Feel Terrible
I apologize for not keeping up with my promise of BEDA. I haven't blogged for the past 2 days for 2 reasons.
1. I haven't exactly had the most eventful days
2. I haven't been home long enough to blog
To be honest, I don't remember what I did 2 days ago....or yesterday for that matter. Except food shopping yesterday. I spent 2 hours in Giant Eagle....it was pretty terrible. I do remember that I went to Bob Evans and our waitress was the nicest and best waitress I've had in a long long time. She was such a people person. Sometimes we'd start having conversations with her and she forgot she was working. It was so funny.
I did also do something yesterday that made me feel bad. I understand that newspapers are printed like a gazillion times and everything, but still; this upset me. For our new art project, we are making paper mashea (sp) fish. So we have to get the newspaper pieces and putting them on the balloon with the gross sticky stuff etc. The pieces I was using for my project....the Obituaries. I know. I felt so bad. But oh well, what's done is done.
Now to today. I was again supposed to have softball practice, but since it rained yesterday, our field got flooded and now its a giant mud puddle. So instead of that, I went over the secretary for my chiropractor's house. I know this might be strange, but it isn't. I baby sit her 2 daughters. They also just got a new puppy and they aren't exact;y experts on raising a Pit bull-Terrier mix. Me neither, but I'm excellent with animals. So I took my dog's walking collar over to teach her to not pull whenever they take her for walks. They didn't really think it would work. Did I show them! After we walked for about 10mins, the 6yr old could walk her. That's right, power to the collar. After the walk her daughters and I just chilled out and stuff until I went home. Now nothing is really going on. I just ate my wonderful Chinese Food dinner and now I'm just chilling out reading blogs and what not like i do everyday. Until tomorrow!

I Love Jazz Band
Here it is everyone. The blog you've been waiting for: The California University Blog.
I'm going to start off everything by early this morning. I woke up at 5:45am.....for me, that's extremely early. I am not a morning person so I felt like I was sleepwalking the whole morning. Until everyone else showed up at school. Around 7:15am, we headed for the bus waiting for us but! we had to wait for our Trumpet 2 girl, Megan (my friend mentioned in previous blogs). Finally, she arrived and we left.....for breakfast :) We got Subway breakfast! Seniority obviously was in place so all the high school members got to eat at a table and by the time we were done eating and the middle schoolers got their food, they had to eat on the bus >:) We then proceeded to drive for a. very. long. time. all the way out to California, PA. That ride took a long time, but I got to see some horses so I was happy.
When we got to Cal U, we (the middle and high school jazz bands) got to go to a sort of "workshop" thing where the middle school played for an hr (and got criticized basically). After their time was up, it was our turn to play and the middle school went over to the Sight Reading Workshop. After we were done playing, we went to the S.R.W. and had a bunch of fun messing with the southern guy in charge of it. Whenever we were all done, we went and watched/ listened to the Cal U jazz band preform. They're amazing. Literally. After about 45mins of that, we went back to the bus on our way to lunch at Eat N' Park.
I was about to pee on the bus, FYI. So whenever we arrived at Eat N' Park, I bolted to the bathroom and when I got out, everyone was seated and I had no idea where they were. Well I found where the funner people were sitting and sat with them. When I ordered, I obviously got a Waffle for Wacky Waffle Wednesday. Our waitress didn't hear me say waffle so I got a dinner I didn't order. My student teacher noticed this and confronted her. I got a free Waffle. I only got charged for my milkshake and the thing I didn't order. AMAZING. While we were eating, we (me, Thomas [Rolf], Livie [Lisle], Jimi [Franz the butler], and Alex [trombone pit player]) all started singing the Sound of Music songs....really loud....tables started string at us funny, but the best part was when I saw one of the waitresses singing with us :)
Anyways, it was somebody's birthday in the middle school jazz band. The employees started coming out with a cupcake or sundae with a candle in it. I started clapping in my booth...Our director, Mr. Leopold, stood up and joined in with the employees. So everyone else who was on the field trip with us all got up and joined in with them. They were confused out of their minds. The employees kept giving us strange looks when we were clapping and singing right behind them. It was soooo funny! We were thanked for joining in and then sat back down again. We left a little while later.
On our bus ride back, we SCREAMED Bohemian Rhapsody. 2 people wanted us to shut up, but no worries, we over powered their protests. It was very very fun! :D Now, I'm sitting here, being hyper from my Mocha Java milkshake and 2 chocolate covered coffee beans. That has been my day :) which was amazing. I hope your Wacky Waffle Wednesday was filled with as much fun as me.
I'm going to put a link here for our Jazz Band Mascot. His name is Sleepy Joe the Egg. He is made of amazing. We document his life with random picture. Here is the photo album on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=185639538123406&id=100000320824522&aid=42499

Preparing for Yesterday
I am not preparing for yesterday. That's not logically possible unless I'm preparing for today which is tomorrow's yesterday even though tomorrow never really comes. I'm preparing for Wacky Waffle Wednesday and the fun time I'm going to have at Cal U tomorrow!
Wacky Waffle Wednesday is going to be Wonderful. JOIN! It's any Wednesday; just eat a waffle (or 12 ;) )
Cal U, I'm not too sure about. I will blog about it more tomorrow, but it's basically a huge "Jazz Band Convention" if you will. We should call it "JazzCon" like ComiCon instead of California University's 28th Annual Jazz Experience. That's just dumb. PLEASE WAIT! MAKING A FIRE! OK, I'm back. I love fire :)
But anyways yeah, that's my week so far. Nothing exciting happened today really....I got to try on our new softball uniforms....that's all.
Recently, though, I've been playing Pokemon Red. That's right; OLD SCHOOL. Like Gameboy Color old. (Except I use my Gameboy Advanced) I'm doing pretty awesome. I have 5 gym badges and all of my Pokemon are around level 30-40. It's weird how Clefaible is stronger than my Charmeleon....but it's still fun!
I'll be back tomorrow with my fun filled day at Cal U!

What's This?
I don't believe it.....I haven't heard of this in such a long time.....it's......
FREE TIME!!!!!!!
That's right. I have free time. Now I can actually have time to do my homework! And hang out with my friends! Yes!!!!.........Then why am I sitting here blogging? Why did I only paint 8 Styrofoam balls and then forget about my Chemistry homework which is still sitting in my book bag? Why aren't I with my friends? I'll tell you why...
I honestly have no clue. I did some of my homework....I didn't ask my friends to hang out...I am a boring and lazy person. I used to have motivation to do soooo much. I want it back....ASAP! I miss it. As much as I love being home and stuff....I miss having something to do everyday....
Well anyways, softball season has officially started so I'll still be busy, but not as much. We get to pick our numbers Thursday (I'm pretty sure) and man am I getting my favorite #.....11!
Something else amazing happened today. You see, my friends (Megan, Kim, Crystal, and Corey) all went to Tekkoshocon IX this week/weekend. I'm jealous. I wanted to go soooo bad but I had play. Well, my friends got to meet Steven Blum. For those of you who don't know who that is, he is the voice (as I know him as) of Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy Advent Children. And if you don't know what that is, LOOK IT UP. But in short....HE'S AMAZING! So my friends got to meet him and they had like full on conversations with him and everything. Megan told him about me and how I couldn't come and I REALLY wanted to. I GOT HIS FREAKING AUTOGRAPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he told Megan that he says hi! in the Vincent voice which is SOOOO sexy and amazing! I want this note card laminated so i can put it on my wall. I'm so freaking happy!
That's the most exciting thing that happened to me today. Wednesday, I'm going to Cal U so get ready for a bunch of extreme awesomeness!!!!
By the way, I follow Italktosnakes and how she has her flights and Pokemon badges and stuff on the bottom, I'm going to do something like that except I'm going to keep track of my Snapple cap collection.

BEDA 2 - frazzled
Today, I actually remembered to blog!
I didn't exactly have a good day today. I did sleep in 'til 12:45....that was good.....
Then I went downstairs after my shower and watched the Sound of Music with my mom. Figures. They day after the Play ends, we watch the movie. But after the movie was bad. I'm not gonna go into details, but oh my god was everyone angry. Everyone but me that is. That's just the way it goes. EVERYONE in my house usually has a bad day except me and then I end up being ignored, like today.
But hey, let's venture back to yesterday. Yesterday was the last night of our high school play and the ending was the saddest thing I have ever seen. Mostly everyone backstage was crying since it was the last night and all the "thanks-to" and "couldn't-have-done-this-without-you" speeches. The people that really got to me last night who was crying was Olivia (basically my sister who played Lisle), Tony (who play Captain Von Trapp), Thomas (who played Rolf), and Christina (who played Gretl). Olivia is a senior so it was her last show :-/. Tony is just easily moved by many things. Thomas is i guess the same as Tony. Christina is 6yrs old....watching a 6yr old sob like that is probably one of the most depressing scenes I've ever seen in my life.
Even though there was a bunch of crying, the after party was fun. We had chips, cake, cupcakes, pizza and buffalo chicken dip (delicious!) We played a giant cast and crew game of Ninja so that was a blast. For those of you who don't know what Ninja is, it's a game where the objective is to hit somebodies hand one move at a time as if you freeze and move when it's your turn...and to not let your hand get hit. It's a lot of fun!
Traveling back to today, I was supposed to have softball practice at 3 today, but that got canceled because of this nasty weather. But it's OK. Every year, the first 6 practices or so are canceled so it's like some games are like practices. I'm used to it.
Other than the butt load of angriness this morning, today has been boring. I am going to go back to my boringness now. So long, Farewell! I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Major Fail
Well, I was gonna try and do BEDA this year (since I just heard of it this year). BUT I missed the 1st day. Of course I did right? So I am still gonna try BEDA.
Yesterday was the 2nd night of our High School play, The Sound Of Music. I am blaming this for taking up my life so I have no time what so ever to blog. I have been going to school in the morning and either going to play practice all of March, going to dress rehearsal Monday and Tuesday of this week, and now actual show nights for the past 3 days. Luckily, tonight is the last night. The play, although on the serious side, is pretty awesome. I am not actually in the play though. I'm in the pit orchestra playing the saxophone. The pit is huge this year. We have so many people its amazing. Sometimes I think we over power they actors, but oh well! Music is great.
Being in the pit and listening to the play for a month know, I basically memorized EVERY SINGLE LINE in it. The actual actors have been practicing for 4 months and some of them still don't know all of their lines...I know EVERYBODY'S. The pit people near me call me The Teleprompter. I know all the cues and everything that goes on. Just another sign of my select photographic memory. Why can't I remember my vocab. like this that I'm having a test on next week?
Today has been a little on the uneventful side. I woke up around noon and painted a monster molecule for my Chemistry project. I hate being one of the smartest people in my classes. No one does any work in the groups I'm in and they get the same grade as me. I will admit that the group I am currently in at least tries. Most people are just like "Oh hey, she's the smart girl. Let's get her to do our work for us!" I hate it. I built all of the molecules we had to do, Moose (a best friend of mine's nickname) got the supplies, and Kyle (who isn't exactly the brightest person) took apart everything I built when we were done and helped me figure out how to build them. So in a long shot, I did all the hard work. So now I have 16 or so Styrofoam painted balls laying on my dining room table because my group members had no paint to paint them with. Excellent.
I've been in my pajamas all day and I am so comfortable. In about.....an hour, however, I am going to be in my black and purple corset and then going to play 3hrs worth of music. I know, not the best idea, but I bought the corset so I'm gonna wear it. Deal with it.
